DONNY’S BIO
Owner and Master Barber, Donny has been cutting hair professionally since 2005. Originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, Donny was the owner of Modern Classics Barber Studio and Back to Basics Barbershop since 2008. In 2017, Donny moved to Charlotte in hopes to grow his brand even larger.
In June of 2018, Modern Classics Grooming Lounge was launched in Charlotte’s South End, a shop designed for men to escape and relax. Donny has trained with some of the best barbers and stylist in the nation, as well as traveled the country educating others on his fading and clipper techniques. He is currently sponsored by the top clipper brand in the world, ANDIS clippers. Donny Started his career focusing on fading and clean lines. As trends shifted he began to seek knowledge on more styling and loose natural looks. Drawing major inspiration from the UK, Donny has gathered the skill set to take on any hair style while staying ahead of the curve. He has the skill to do anything from a classic gentleman’s scissor cut to a detailed fade and shave. The best part is, he still attends classes and seminars furthering his education. A true master barber who loves his craft.
